Two Stratford Features

Good afternoon, everyone. Hope you’ve been having a wonderful summer.

I recently wrote two features for NEXT covering three Stratford Festival productions:

The first piece is an interview with Olivia Sinclair-Brisbane, who stars in both musicals this season (Something Rotten! and Guys and Dolls). What a lovely convo with an ambitious, thoughtful, nice person.

The second piece covers The Tempest and features an interview with Geraint Wyn Davies (Prospero) and Ashley Dingwell (Miranda). Two-on-one interviews are interesting. The two interviewees know a lot more about each other than the interviewer, so my role is more to facilitate conversations between the two of them than to be an active participant in the dialogue. It’s cool to stretch a different muscle. (They also seemed like lovely people, for the record).

Anyway, give ’em a read if you’re so inclined 🙂

P.S. Shoutout to my uncle Marc. Keep on being the best.

(P.P.S. thanks, Stratford media team, for clarifying that the tube-looking rock in the foreground of this image is, in fact, a person).
