Hi, fam. My latest review has been published by Next Mag – for Mary, Mary, Mary, Mary @ Crow’s Theatre.
There were quite a few concrete-looking plinths scattered around the stage. A plinth is a stone pedestal, for those who may not know/don’t watch obnoxious Youtube decorator content on the reg. My editor Ryan postulated that perhaps they were made of styrofoam or something more movable than stupidly heavy slabs of concrete. I started imagining the sound of carving into styrofoam – full nails-on-a-chalkboard territory. I wondered if the set fabricator used a heat gun to melt the styrofoam. Did they wear a mask to avoid inhaling fumes? I’m here to ask the important questions.
Anyway, check out my formal review – I promise I do not mention styrofoam once.
P.S. I’m back on Instagram now, so throw me a follow if you can? @girllikestheatre
